Episode 5: Unexpected Moments

Scene 1: The Library Again

Ali (leaning in, curious):
“Achha, tumne aaj kya padhne ka socha?”
(Oh, what did you plan to study today?)

Sara (biting her lip, a little shy):
“Bas thodi revision. Aur tum?”
(Just some revision. And you?)

Ali (smirking):
“Main toh sirf tumhe dekhne ke liye yahan hoon.”
(I’m just here to see you.)

(Sara blushes, and they share a moment of silence, their unspoken feelings hanging in the air.)

Scene 2: A Surprise Encounter

(Suddenly, Zoya bursts into the library, flinging the door open with dramatic flair.)

Zoya (yelling, with a grin):
“Surprise! Maine socha aaj kuch dhamaka karun!”
(Surprise! I thought I’d create a little explosion today!)

(Sara jumps a little, startled, while Ali looks up, his expression shifting from surprise to amusement.)

Ali (laughing):
“Zoya! Kya tumhe library ka pata hai ya bas kisi bhi jagah daakhil ho jati ho?”
(Zoya! Do you even know where the library is, or do you just barge in anywhere?)

(Zoya walks over, waving her hands theatrically.)

Zoya:
“Library! Main toh yahan tum dono ki padhai mein interruption daalne aayi hoon!”
(Library! I’m here to interrupt your studies!)

(Sara chuckles, shaking her head at Zoya’s antics, while Ali’s face turns serious as he takes a deep breath, preparing for a moment he’s been thinking about.)

Ali (turning back to Sara, trying to regain the moment):
“Umm, Sara, aaj main tumhe kuch zaroori kehna chahta tha…”
(Umm, Sara, I wanted to tell you something important today…)

(Zoya, sensing the change in the atmosphere, perks up her ears.)

Zoya (interrupting, dramatically):
“Wait, let me guess! Tumhe mujhe bataana tha ki tumhara dil Sara ke liye dhadak raha hai, hai na?”
(Wait, let me guess! You wanted to tell me that your heart is racing for Sara, right?)

(Sara’s eyes widen, and she looks at Ali, who is now flustered, his expression caught between surprise and irritation.)

Ali (trying to stay calm, but clearly flustered):
“Nahi, nahi! Yeh toh main bas… kuch aur keh raha tha!”
(No, no! I was just… saying something else!)

(Zoya leans in, raising an eyebrow, enjoying the moment.)

Zoya:
“Arey bhai, yeh toh thriller ban raha hai! Aage kya hoga?”
(Oh man, this is turning into a thriller! What’s going to happen next?)

(Suddenly, in her excitement, Zoya accidentally knocks over a stack of books, creating a loud thud. Books scatter everywhere.)

Zoya (gasping):
“Oops! Mera dhyaan chala gaya!”
(“Oops! I lost my focus!”)

(Ali jumps up, rushing over to help Zoya pick up the books, but as he leans down, he whispers urgently.)

Ali (whispering):
“Zoya, tum meri proposal plan ko ruin kar rahi ho! Please, thoda chup raho!”
(Zoya, you’re ruining my proposal plan! Please, be quiet!)

(Zoya’s eyes widen, and she looks like she’s about to scream in excitement, but Ali quickly covers her mouth.)

Ali (pleading, wide-eyed):
“Please, for god’s sake, keep it quiet! Yeh secret rakhna hai!”
(Please, for god’s sake, keep it quiet! This needs to stay a secret!)

(Zoya, her eyes sparkling with mischief, nods, but then bursts into giggles, unable to contain her excitement.)

Zoya:
“Okay, okay! Lekin agar tum propose karne wale ho, toh main yeh sab dekhne ke liye tayaar hoon!”
(Okay, okay! But if you’re going to propose, I’m ready to see all of this!)

(Sara laughs, enjoying the playful banter. After a moment, she turns to Zoya with a curious expression.)

Sara:
“Zoya, tum toh ghar chali gayi thi! Phir yeh surprise visit kaise?”
(Zoya, you had gone home! How come this surprise visit?)

Zoya (grinning):
“Haaan, raste mein yaad aaya ke books to class mein reh gayi hain. Phir socha, ab tumhare sath hi ghar jaon!”
(Yeah, I remembered my books were still in class. Then I thought, I might as well go home with you!)

(Ali’s mood shifts, realizing he might have to postpone his proposal. He sighs and looks at Sara, trying to keep the conversation light.)

Ali:
“Chalo, ab mein chalta hoon. Ab toh hum dost hain, toh mila hota rahega, hain na?”
(Well, I guess I’ll head out now. Now that we’re friends, we’ll keep meeting, right?)

(He glances at Sara, searching her eyes for any hint of her feelings. Sara slowly blushes and nods.)

Sara:
“Haaan.”
(Yes.)

(Zoya notices the moment and prepares to tease Ali further.)

Zoya:
“Ali, tum kuch kehne wale the na!
(Ali, you are going to say something, right!

(Before she can continue, Ali interrupts, raising his hand.)

Ali (firmly):
“Zoya, tum bhi dobara milna. Thoda sa ruk jao.”
(Zoya, you too, meet later. Just hold on a second.)

(Zoya smiles nervously, her excitement bubbling under the surface as she nods.)

Zoya:
“Okay, okay!
Okay, okay!

(Ali shakes his head, trying to hide his smile, while Sara laughs, feeling the warmth of the moment. Ali looks at Sara one last time, a mix of disappointment and determination in his eyes as he resolves to find a better time for his proposal.)

Scene 3: The Walk Home

(After Library, Sara and Zoya walk home together, still buzzing from the day’s events.)

Sara (thoughtful):
“Zoya, kya tumhe lagta hai Ali mujhe pasand karta hai?”
(Zoya, do you think Ali likes me?)

Zoya (grinning widely):
“Bilkul! Uski aankhein sab kuch keh deti hain!”
Absolutely! His eyes say it all!

(Sara smiles, her heart fluttering at the thought.)

Sara:
“Main bas yeh sochti hoon ki agar usne kuch kaha toh main kya karungi?”
(I just think about what I would do if he said something.)

Zoya (encouragingly):
“Phir tumhe bas haan bolna hai! Kya mushkil hai?”
(Then you just have to say yes! What’s so hard about that?)

(Sara laughs, feeling a mix of excitement and nerves.)
