🌸 Episode 3 – The Master Plan (That Might Backfire)

Scene 1: Zoya’s Room – The Plan Begins

Zoya was pacing in her room like a detective who just cracked a mystery.

Zoya (muttering):
“I won’t marry him. No way. But if I say no, Ammi will create a drama bigger than any Geo TV serial.”

She stopped, eyes lighting up.

Zoya (smirking):
“But… what if Daniyal says no too? Hmm… maybe we can both agree to cancel this rishta… peacefully… smartly… cleverly!”

She picked up her phone and messaged him:
“Can we talk? Alone. Without traffic, trees, and parents.”

Scene 2: A Quiet Café – The Secret Meeting

Zoya and Daniyal sat at a corner table. Both looked serious… too serious.

Daniyal:
“Look, if you’re here to throw more sarcasm at me, I didn’t bring my helmet.”

Zoya (rolls eyes):
“Relax. I’m not here to fight. I came with a plan.”

Daniyal:
“Same. You first.”

Zoya:
“Let’s act like we’re interested. Play nice. Smile. Let our parents stay happy for a few weeks… and then boom—we find a peaceful way to end this.”

Daniyal (leaning in):
“So… fake harmony followed by smart breakup?”

Zoya (smiling):
“Exactly. Clean. Drama-free. No broken hearts. No biryani wastage.”

Daniyal:
“Wow. I’m impressed. You really hate this rishta, huh?”

Zoya:
“I don’t hate it. I just hate being forced into something I don’t feel.”

Daniyal (nods):
“Same here. You’re great, just not… my type.”

Zoya (raising eyebrow):
“And your type is what? Silent, shy, and obsessed with cats?”

Daniyal (laughs):
“No! Just… not someone who threatens trees.”

Both of them chuckled. For the first time, it wasn’t awkward. They were finally having a real, normal conversation.

Scene 3: Daniyal’s Living Room – A Performance Begins

Daniyal walks into the lounge, pretending to whistle a happy tune. His parents look up from their chai.

Daniyal (with fake excitement):
“So… just wondering… when can we fix the engagement? I’m totally in love with Zoya now. Haha!”

His Abbu slowly lowers his newspaper.

Abbu:
“You’re in love?”

Daniyal (too cheerful):
“Yes yes! Madly! Deeply! Bolly-woodly!”

Ammi (suspicious):
“You hated her two days ago. What happened, did she save your life from a truck?”

Daniyal (grinning hard):
“Love is like an exam. It just… hits you!”

Abbu (sarcastic):
“Beta, your acting is so good, I almost nominated you for Best Drama Serial.”

Scene 4: Zoya’s Dining Room – Another Drama Class in Session

Zoya enters the dining room, smiling like a Miss Universe runner-up.

Zoya:
“Ammi, Baba… I was thinking… we should start planning the mehndi function. I want a floral entrance and a camel.”

Her Baba drops his toast.

Baba:
“Camel?”

Ammi:
“Are you okay, beta? You said you didn’t want this rishta!”

Zoya (fake dreamy look):
“That was the old me. Now I realize… Daniyal is such a nice, tall… person. With… eyes.”

Ammi:
“And since when do you compliment boys? Last week you yelled at the milkman.”

Zoya:
“I’m growing, Ammi. Love has changed me.”

Baba:
“You said the same thing after watching Turkish dramas.”

Scene 5: Both Houses – Parent-Level Suspicion Activated

At Daniyal’s house…

Ammi:
“Something’s fishy. Either he’s hiding something, or this is a prank show.”

Abbu (narrowing eyes):
“Call Zoya’s family. We’re visiting. I want to see this fake love up close.”

At Zoya’s house…

Baba:
“Daniyal and Zoya are suddenly behaving like a shaadi ka brochure. Something’s not right.”

Ammi:
“We’re inviting them for chai tomorrow. Let’s see how these two ‘lovers’ behave under real pressure.”

Scene 4: The Next Day – The Tea Trap

Zoya and Daniyal sit awkwardly on the same sofa, one inch apart like nervous cousins in an arranged marriage photo shoot.

Ammi (watching closely):
“So… Zoya, you like Daniyal now?”

Zoya (over-acting):
“Yes, Ammi! He’s… so kind and… alive!”

Abbu (raising an eyebrow):
“And Daniyal, what do you like about Zoya?”

Daniyal (sweating):
“Her… voice! It’s… like a ringtone. Very… loud, I mean lovely.”

Baba:
“You two are glowing like people forced to smile in school photos.”

Zoya and Daniyal (together):
*”No no! We’re just happy!” (nervous laughter)

The parents exchange looks. Something is off. Very off.

Scene 5: Secret Message at Night

Later, both of them sit in their beds, texting under the blanket.

Zoya:
“Our acting today? Total disaster.”

Daniyal:
“I sounded like a PowerPoint presentation.”

Zoya:
“My Baba blinked 8 times in one minute. That’s his ‘you’re lying’ face.”

Daniyal:
“We need to tone it down tomorrow. Let’s just act normal.”

Zoya:
“Yeah. Like two people who tolerate each other. Like in real marriages.”

They both smile. Accidentally. Again.
