Episode 8

Scene 1: Danish Calls Zoya

Usi shaam, Danish apne kamray mein baithkar phone par Zoya ka number dekhta hai, jo usay Saba se mila tha, aur usay call karne ka faisla karta hai.

Danish: “Hello, kya yeh Zoya hai?”
(Hello, is this Zoya?)

Zoya: “Haan, Ap kaun hai?”
(Yes, who is this?)

Danish: “Mein Danish hon, Ali ka dost. Mujhe umeed hai aap khairyat se hongi!”
(This is Danish, Ali’s friend. I hope you are doing well!)

Zoya: Ji main toh kahriyat se hon per apne kyu call kiya Kya?”
(yes i am doing good but why you call me?)

Danish: “Mujhe aapki madad chahiye. Mujhe lagta hai ke Sara aur Ali ko unke parents se pehle ek dafa milna chahiye. Shayad aaj dopahar ko?”
(I need your help. I think Sara and Ali should meet before their parents meet. Maybe this afternoon?)

Zoya: (seriously) “Haan, main bhi yahi sochti hoon. Unhe pehle ek doosray ko samajhna chahiye.”
(Yes, I also think so. They should understand each other first.)

Danish: “Are wah, tum toh bohat samajhdar nikli! Ali toh bas aise hi keh raha tha.”
(Wow, you seem very sensible! Ali was just saying so.)

Zoya: (Naraz hone wale andaz mein) “Acha kiya keh rahe the Ali bhai mere bare mein?”
(What did Ali bhai say about me?)

Danish: (haste hue) “Kuch nahi, kuch nahi! Bas yeh keh raha tha ke tum clever ho.”
(Nothing, nothing! He just said you’re clever.)

Zoya: “Ab dekho, mein kya karti hoon!”
(Now watch, I will see what I do!)

Danish: “Are, are nahi! Pehle hi tum uska proposal hijack kar chuki, ab toh bechare ko baksh do!”
(Hey, don’t! You’ve already hijacked his proposal, now spare him!)

Zoya has rahi hoti hai, uska andaaz halka hota hai.

Zoya: “Ok, maaf kiya, lekin badla toh lungi! Abhi nahi toh shaadi par.”

Danish: (chuckle karte hue) “Haaan, le lena. Lekin abhi unki mulaqat hone do.”

Zoya: “Haan, theek hai. Main dopahar mein Sara ko library bhej dungi. Tum Ali bhai ko bhi bhej dena.”
(Yes, alright. I will send Sara to the library this afternoon. You send Ali too.)

Danish: “Ok, sounds like a plan!”
(Okay, sounds like a plan!)

Scene 2: Zoya and Sara on the Way to College

Zoya aur Sara college ja rahe hote hain, jab Zoya bechaini se kehti hai.

Zoya: (excitedly) “Sara! Danish ka call aaya tha! Usne aaj dopahar library mein tumhari aur Ali ki mulaqat set up ki hai!”
(Sara! I just got a call from Danish! He set up a meeting for you and Ali in the library this afternoon!)

Sara ye sunkar khushi se hairan hoti hai, sochti hai, “Wah, mujhe toh Ali se milne ka intezar tha. Usse achhe se jaan na chahti hoon!”

Zoya ne dekha ke Sara kuch soch rahi hai, toh usne phir se mazak udana shuru kiya.

Zoya: (playfully) “Arey, tum toh ab se library pohanch gayi! Chalo, jaldi karo, class shuru hone wali hai, Dopher ko hai meeting!”
(Wow, you’re already planning to reach the library! Hurry up, class is about to start, the meeting is in afternoon!)

Sara sirf muskurati hai aur blushing karti hai, phir kehti hai.

Sara: “Haan, haan, mujhe pata hai! Lekin mujhe thoda nervous feel ho raha hai.”
(Yeah, yeah, I know! But I’m feeling a bit nervous.)

Zoya: “Are yaar! Main nahi hongi toh tum araam se baat kar lena, bechare Ali ko tang mat karna!”
(Oh, come on! I won’t be there, so you can talk comfortably. Don’t annoy poor Ali!)

Sara sirf muskurati hai, phir Zoya kehti hai.

Zoya: “Acha suno!”
(Hey, listen!)

Sara: “Haan, kya hai?”

Zoya: “Agar Ali bhai ne aisa-waisa kuch kiya na, toh foran mujhe call karna, main fata fat aajongi!”
(If Ali does anything weird, you call me right away, I’ll come running!)

Sara has kar Zoya ko elbow maar deti hai.

Sara: “Kya baat kar rahi ho, Zoya! Tum toh aise keh rahi ho jaise main kisi spy mission par ja rahi hoon!”
(What are you saying, Zoya! You’re acting like I’m going on a spy mission!)

Zoya: (laughing) “Bilkul! Aur main tumhara backup plan hoon! Agar kuch bhi ho gaya, toh main wahan hoon!”
(Absolutely! And I’m your backup plan! If anything goes wrong, I’ll be there!)

Sara: “Wah, tum toh superhero ban gayi ho! Ab mujhe koi tension nahi!”
(Wow, you’ve become a superhero! Now I have no tension!)

Zoya: “Haan, toh ab jao aur unse milne ka maza lo! Aur yaad rakhna, agar zarurat ho toh mujhe call karna!”
(Yes, now go and enjoy meeting him! And remember, if you need anything, call me!)

Dono behne haste-haste college ki taraf chali jaati hain,

Scene 3: Danish and Ali in the Office

Ali apne cabin mein baithe hote hain jab Danish andar aata hai, thoda excited lag raha hai.

Danish: (enthusiastically) “Ali! Aaj ki meeting set ho gayi hai!”
(Ali! The meeting for today is set!)

Ali thoda samajh nahi paata aur beparwah tarike se kehta hai.

Ali: “Nahi yaar, aaj nahi! Kal ki rakh lo, mein shaam k liye bohot nervous hon.”
(No man, not today! Let’s keep it for tomorrow; I’m really nervous for this evening.)

Danish: “Shaam k liye?”
(For this evening?)

Ali: “Haan, Kal shaam Sara ki ami ka call aya tha. Unhone humein dinner par invite kiya hai.”
(Yes, Sara’s mom called last evening. She invited us for dinner.)

Danish: (grinning) “Wah bahi, aaj toh tumhare liye do do good news hain!”
(Wow, buddy! Today is a big day for you with two good news!)

Ali thoda confused hota hai.

Ali: “Do good news? Wo kaise?”
(Two good news? How so?)

Danish: “Bhai, ek to tumhara proposal officially ja raha hai aaj, aur doosra tumhari dopahar mein meeting!”
(Dude, one is that your proposal is going officially today, and the second is your meeting this afternoon!)

Ali thoda samajhne ki koshish karta hai, phir kehata hai.

Ali: “Meeting kis ke saath?”
(Meeting with whom?)

Danish: (smirking) “Woh jis ke liye tum bekarar the!”

Ali: (shouting) “Sara!”
(Sara!)

Danish: “Ji haan, aur is baar Zoya bhi nahi hogi. Tum ache se baat kar lena!”

Ali: (excitedly) “Oh Danish! Kya kamal khabar sunayi hai! Tum toh mere sache dost nikle!”

Danish: (playfully) “Bas bas! Ab zyada makhan na laga!”
(Okay, okay! Don’t butter me up too much!)

Ali: (laughing) “Aray bhai, yeh toh udhar raha! Jab tera waqt aayega na, toh dekhna, main teri poori madad karunga!”
(Come on, this is just the beginning! When your time comes, I’ll be right there to help you!)

Danish: “Wo chhod! Aaj dopahar ki tayyari karo, yaar!”
(Forget that! Just prepare for this afternoon, man!)

Danish aur Ali dono hans rahe hote hain, dosti aur excitement ke saath aage ki tayyari karte hain.

Scene 4: In the Library

Ali aur Sara library ke ek kone mein baithte hain, dono apne khayalon mein khoye hue hain. Ali, jo thoda nervous hai, conversation shuru karta hai.

Ali: “Tumhe toh pata hoga, mein tumhare ghar proposal bheja hai, aur aaj humare parents aapas mein milne wale hain isi silsile mein.”
(You know, I’ve sent a proposal to your home, and today our parents are going to meet regarding that.)

Sara thoda sharmati hai aur sir hilaati hai.

Sara: “Haan.”
(Yes.)

Ali: “Mujhe janna hai, kya tum khush ho?”
(I want to know, are you happy?)

Sara: (blushing) “Meri khushi mere parents se hai. Jo wo decide karenge, mujhe manzoor hoga.”
(My happiness depends on my parents. Whatever they decide will be acceptable to me.)

Ali muskurata hai aur phir puchta hai.

Ali: “Haan, wo toh theek hai, lekin kya main tumhe pasand hoon?”
(That’s fine, but do you like me?)

Sara phir se blush karti hai aur sir hilaati hai.

Sara: “Haan.”
(Yes.)

Ali: (smiling) “Maine toh tumhe engagement wale din hi apna bana liya tha.”
(I already claimed you as mine on the engagement day.)

Sara choti si muskurahat ke saath dekhti hai.

Ali: “Achha, ab mein apne bare mein kuch bata doon. Mein IT engineer hoon. Mere papa ka IT ka business hai, aur main usko sambhalta hoon. Aur haan, Danish mera partner hai business mein. Aur sabse zaroori baat, mein ek women wala larka hoon, ek dam shareeif.”
(Alright, let me tell you something about myself. I’m an IT engineer. My dad has an IT business, and I manage it. And yes, Danish is my partner in the business. And most importantly, I’m a one-woman man, a complete gentleman.)

Sara: (smiling) “Wow, impressive!”
(Wow, impressive!)

Ali uski muskurahat dekh kar khud bhi muskurata hai.

Ali: “Maine toh apne bare mein bata diya, ab tum bhi kuch kaho.”
(I’ve shared about myself, now you tell me something about you.)

Sara: (slowly) “Main bhi engineering parh rahi hoon. Mera last year hai. Main aage parhna chahti hoon aur job bhi karna chahti hoon. Kya mujhe iski permission milegi shaadi ke baad?”
(I’m studying engineering too. It’s my last year. I want to continue my studies and work as well. Will I get permission for this after marriage?)

Ali uski aankhon mein dekhta hai aur muskurata hai.

Ali: “Sara, I love you, and I will stand by you, whatever you want.”
(Sara, I love you, and I will support you in whatever you want.)

Jab Ali yeh keh raha hota hai, tab achanak ek dhamaka hota hai, aur Zoya pichhe se book stall se gir jaati hai. Ali aur Sara hairaan ho jaate hain aur Zoya thodi hasi hasi ke sath uthti hai.

Zoya: (hesitantly laughing) “Hehe, kya scene hai! Mein to bas aise hi aa gayi!”
(Hehe, what a scene! I just came in like this!)

Sara aur Ali dono ek sath hansne lagte hain, unki romantic moment ka ek dam se humorously khatam ho jaata hai.

Sara: “Zoya! Tum yahan kya kar rahi thi?”
(Zoya! What were you doing here?)

Zoya: (grinning) “Bas tum dono ki baatein sunne aayi thi! Lagta hai maine kuch important miss kiya!”
(Just came to eavesdrop on you two! Looks like I missed something important!)

Ali aur Sara ek dusre ki taraf dekhtay hain aur phir hansi mein shamil ho jaate hain, pura scene ab khushiyon aur hansi se bhara hota hai.
