🎬 Episode 6 – “Mission Rishta Reveal”
Scene 1: Saad in Mission Mode – At Home
Saad storms into his parents’ room as if he’s just cracked a national scandal. His mom is folding clothes. His dad is trying to nap.
Saad (dramatic entrance):
“Ammi! Abbu! We’ve been fooled. Played. Manipulated. It’s worse than a 9 PM drama!”
Ammi (startled):
“Yeh kya drama hai? What happened? Did your phone get snatched again?”
Abbu (groggy):
“Are you finally confessing that you failed maths?”
Saad (serious tone):
“No! It’s about Daniyal… and Zoya. They’ve made a secret plan!”
Ammi (alert now):
“What kind of plan? Eloping? I’ll faint—”
Saad:
“No no. Relax. Not that. You remember how they hated each other?”
Ammi:
“Obviously! Zoya was ready to throw a slipper, and Daniyal looked like he’d run away to the mountains.”
Saad:
“Exactly. So they made a plan. A brilliantly stupid plan. They decided to act like a lovey-dovey couple. Full drama. Romance. Filmy lines. Just so we get excited and fix the rishta fast…”
Abbu:
“Wait, what?!”
Saad (nodding):
“…Then after a while, they’d start fake fighting. Big, messy drama. Then… boom! Rishta khatam. Mission accomplished.”
Abbu:
“Aray wah. Reverse psychology. Cute.”
Ammi (folding her arms, smirking):
“Aha! I knew something was fishy. That girl hugged me twice in a day. Itna pyar? Something was off.”
Abbu:
“And Daniyal suddenly started calling me ‘Uncle Jee’ with too much sweetness. It was weird.”
Saad (grinning):
“Well, here’s the twist. While they were pretending… they actually started liking each other. Falling for real.”
Ammi and Abbu together (in surprise):
“Achaaaaaaa?!”
Abbu (smirking):
“Beta, love story mein plot twist aa gaya.”
Ammi (laughing):
“They think we didn’t notice? Itna bhi budhay nahi hue hum!”
Abbu:
“Hmm… I think it’s time we turn the tables.”
Ammi:
“Haan! Let’s play their game. But better.”
📞 Scene 2: The Parents’ Secret Conference Call
Split-screen video call. On one side, Zoya’s parents. On the other, Daniyal’s parents. Everyone’s wearing serious expressions — but their eyes are twinkling like naughty school kids planning mischief.
Daniyal’s Ammi:
“So… our kids thought they could pull off this whole pretend-love drama?”
Zoya’s Abbu:
“They really underestimated us. They showed us their acting skills… now it’s our turn.”
Daniyal’s Abbu:
“They made a full drama script. Scene by scene. But forgot we’re the directors here.”
Zoya’s Ammi:
“Game on hai!”
Scene 3: “Encore Performance”
Night. Zoya is lying on her bed, scrolling her phone, when she suddenly dials Daniyal’s number. He picks up after two rings, already suspicious.
Daniyal (yawning fake):
“Don’t tell me you’re calling to confess your love. I already wrote your name in my diary today.”
Zoya (rolling her eyes):
“Ugh. Drama king. I’m just warning you—my parents invited your parents over for tea. Again.”
Daniyal (sits up, alert):
“What? Tea again? What’s going on now? Are we performing again or are they finalizing the rishta with shaadi ki date?”
Zoya (grinning):
“Who knows? Maybe they liked our last performance. You know… the fake hand-holding, the extra sugar in chai, the ‘Aunty ji, you’re so sweet’ dialogues.”
Daniyal (laughs):
“I deserve a Best Actor award. Did you see how your mom was smiling? I think she was this close to giving me a gift.”
Zoya:
“And you? Mr. Smooth. Complimenting my jhumkay like you actually cared.”
Daniyal:
“Okay hold on. I did care. They were blinding me under the chandelier light.”
Zoya (playfully):
“Oh hello! These jhumkay got me 312 likes on Insta. Watch your mouth.”
Daniyal:
“Apologies, Miss Influencer.”
Zoya (smiling):
“Anyway, looks like our fake love saga continues. Ready for another round?”
Daniyal:
“Totally. Let’s give them a show they won’t forget. I’m kinda enjoying this now.”
Zoya (softly):
“Me too.”
There’s a tiny pause. That quiet, confused kind of pause. Both feel it, but neither wants to say it.
Zoya (snapping out of it):
“Okay then, scene start tomorrow. Be on time. I hate late heroes.”
Daniyal (grinning):
“And I hate moody heroines. But fine. See you tomorrow, drama queen.”
Zoya:
“Goodnight, overacting hero.”
Daniyal:
“Goodnight, not-so-loud-anymore Zoya.”
Click.
Both smile quietly after the call, unaware that something very real is growing behind all the pretending.
Scene 4: Tea Table – The Real Drama Begins
Everyone’s gathered again. Daniyal and Zoya arrive wearing extra polite faces.
Daniyal (trying to sound romantic):
“Zoya, I wrote you a poem: ‘Roses are red, biryani is brown, I love you more than my cricket crown.’”
Zoya (fake blushing):
“Aww… that’s… so emotional. I wrote you one too. ‘Daniyal is sweet, Daniyal is neat, but most of all… he has two feet.’”
Their parents exchange silent looks like judges in a talent show.
Zoya’s Baba (clapping slowly):
“Kya poetry hai. Next time, add more depth. Maybe include vegetables.”
Scene 5: The Bomb Drop – Parents Flip the Game
Suddenly, Zoya’s Ammi picks up a rishta photo from the table.
Ammi:
“Actually, we received another rishta for Zoya yesterday. The boy is a doctor. Lives in London.”
Zoya (blinks):
“W-what?”
Daniyal’s Ammi:
“And we also got a rishta for Daniyal. A girl from Lahore. MBA. Owns a bakery.”
Daniyal (nervous):
“A bakery?”
Zoya (Shocked):
“Wait, what?!”
To be continued…
