Episode 1: Anum New Beginnings

Scene: Anum’s First Day at Khan Enterprises

The modern office building of Khan Enterprises. With all the challenges, Anum, dressed in professional attire, walks into the bustling office lobby, carrying her resume and portfolio. She looks around, slightly nervous but determined.

Anum: (muttering to herself) Okay, Anum, you’ve got this. Just breathe.

She approaches the receptionist’s desk.

Receptionist: Good morning! How can I help you?

Anum: Hi, I’m Anum Malik. I’m here for my first day as the new marketing executive.

Receptionist: (smiling) Welcome, Ms. Malik! Mr. Khan is expecting you. Please take the elevator to the 10th floor. His assistant will guide you from there.

Anum: Thank you.

Anum takes the elevator to the 10th floor. As the doors open, she steps out and sees a sophisticated office space. She’s greeted by Sana, Imran Khan’s efficient and friendly assistant.

Sana: Ms. Malik? I’m Sana, Mr. Khan’s assistant. Welcome to Khan Enterprises.

Anum: Thank you, Sana. I’m excited to be here.

Sana: Mr. Khan is in a meeting right now, but he asked me to show you to your office and get you settled in. Follow me, please.

Anum follows Sana down the hallway, taking in her surroundings. They reach a spacious office with a large window overlooking the city.

Sana: This will be your office. Feel free to get comfortable. Here’s your schedule for today, and Mr. Khan will meet you in an hour to discuss your first project.

Anum: (smiling) This is great, Sana. Thank you so much.

Sana: If you need anything, don’t hesitate to ask. Good luck!

Sana leaves, and Anum starts arranging her desk. She takes a moment to look out the window, feeling a mix of excitement and nerves.

Scene: Meeting Imran Khan

Setting: Anum’s office. She’s reviewing some documents when there’s a knock at the door. Imran Khan, a tall and handsome man in his early 30s, walks in. He has an air of confidence and authority.

Imran: Ms. Malik?

Anum: (standing up) Yes, Mr. Khan. It’s a pleasure to meet you.

Imran: (extending his hand) Welcome to Khan Enterprises. I hope you’re settling in well.

Anum: (shaking his hand) Thank you. I’m really looking forward to working here.

Imran: (nodding) Let’s get straight to business. We have a major marketing campaign coming up, and I want you to take the lead on it. Here are the details.

He hands her a folder with documents. Anum opens it and starts reading.

Anum: (focused) This looks interesting. I have a few ideas already.

Imran: (raising an eyebrow) Really? Let’s hear them.

Anum: (confidently) I think we should focus on a more digital approach. Social media influencers and targeted online ads could really boost our reach, especially with the younger demographic.

Imran: (impressed but hiding it) Not a bad idea. But I want to see a detailed plan by the end of the day. Can you handle that?

Anum: (determined) Absolutely, Mr. Khan. You’ll have it on your desk by 5 PM.

Imran: Good. I look forward to seeing what you come up with. And, Ms. Malik, welcome aboard.

Imran leaves the office, and Anum sits back down, feeling a mix of relief and determination.

Scene: Anum Calls Zara

Setting: Anum’s office, later in the day. She’s working on her marketing plan. She picks up her phone and calls Zara, her best friend.

Anum: (on the phone) Hey, Zara!

Zara: (excited) Hey, how’s the first day going?

Anum: (sighs) It’s intense. My boss is… well, let’s just say he’s very demanding.

Zara: (laughs) Sounds like you’ve got your hands full. But I know you can handle it. You always do.

Anum: (smiling) Thanks, Zara. I needed that. I’m working on a big project already. Wish me luck!

Zara: Good luck! And don’t forget to breathe.

Anum: (laughs) I won’t. Talk to you later.

Anum hangs up, feeling more motivated. She dives back into her work, ready to prove herself.
